Selling Your Work As a Path to Enlightenment

A hefty percentage of failure and success in business depends on the skills of the person in charge. (That's probably you).

It Also Depends on Self-Awareness
This isn't something we talk about much. There's a huge focus on selling the right things, pricing them correctly, doing the marketing right. We don't discuss the fact that running your own business, selling your own work, requires much deeper self-awareness than working for someone else.

Why Is This?
When you're in charge, the buck stops with you. You have to wake up and face what you do well and what you don't, and figure out a way to get help. You have to manage your moods, your energy and stamina.

And My Favorite
You have to grapple with your own resistance, your inner critic, and your fear of being visible, and do something about them. Or they will keep you hidden, small and poor.

When you work for someone else, you can often keep your unconsciousness hidden in the closet as long as you get the work done. Not true when you're in charge.

Want to Get More Conscious?
Start selling your work. It will call you to deeper self-awareness and accountability.

Yes, This Is a Strange Idea.
But if you're already selling your work, you know what I mean. If you aren't, when you start, I guarantee you'll find things out about yourself that will surprise and amaze you, while turning you into a more conscious person.

Your work matters. Not just for us, but for you too.

PS: As I have mentioned (!), my new book will help you make peaceful relationships with the parts of you that are blocking you from starting, finishing, and showing your work. Making peace with these parts of yourself will put you on the path to deeper consciousness. You can find it here
